Duke W. Bodie Jr. was born in the Bahamas in 1979.  He received an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management from the College of the Bahamas in 1998.  In 2000, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hampton University in Virginia with a B.Sc. in Accounting.

He was certified by the Virginia State Board of Accountancy in 2002.  He began his professional career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Bahamas.   He joined the Private Trust Corporation Limited in 2007 as Manager of Client Accounting.
